ACORE Capital Launches Wealth Platform

The US commercial real estate lender has set up ACORE Capital Wealth Solutions to offer its credit and select equity strategies to high net worth investors through financial advisors.
ACORE Capital,
a US commercial real estate debt manager, has launched a platform
that will distribute its real estate credit and select equity
strategies to financial advisors and their high net worth
clients. The new platform is called ACORE Capital Wealth
Solutions.
Mick Manning has joined from Apollo-owned Bridge Investment Group
as president of the new unit. He will oversee strategy, product
development and distribution. At Bridge, Manning was managing
director and head of national sales in the client solutions
group, leading distribution to RIAs and broker-dealers. He was
previously managing director and head of capital markets at Forum
Investment Group in Denver, and before that chief executive of
KBS Capital Markets Group and Pacific Oak Capital Markets.
Founded in 2015, ACORE originates, acquires and manages first
mortgages, B-notes, mezzanine debt and preferred equity, and had
about $18 billion of assets under management as of February this
year. Its capital has come mainly from institutions. Its second
flagship credit fund, ACORE Credit Partners II, closed in 2024
with about $1.4 billion in commitments from US pension plans,
sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations, insurers and
family offices.
The firm argues that individual investors remain under-allocated
to commercial real estate and private real estate credit compared
with institutions. It said the gap is widest among the wealthiest
clients.
“We continue to see meaningful opportunity and deal flow across
our business and expanding into this growing investor channel
enables us to invest additional capital,” Warren de Haan, chief
executive of ACORE Capital, said.
