Aberdeen Asset Management Boosts Multi-Asset Offering

The London-listed asset manager has added to its multi-asset investment range with a Luxembourg-domiciled fund.
UK-based Aberdeen Asset Management has launched a UCITS multi-asset income fund.
Share classes of the Aberdeen Global - Multi-Asset Income Fund will be available to investors in Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland and Singapore.
The fund, which comes in response to increased demand for multi-asset investment products, seeks to create a diversified portfolio with asset allocation reviewed on a regular basis.
“In the post-financial crisis world, income is harder to come by. Using our team’s extensive experience in multi-asset investment, we aim to provide a product which can deliver a sustainable annual yield while maintaining the real value of investors’ capital over the medium term,” said head of multi-asset at Aberdeen Asset Management, Mike Turner.
Aberdeen's eight-strong multi-asset income team in Edinburgh will manage the fund, drawing on expertise and research from the company's 60-strong investments solutions division.
In April this year, the firm announced the launch of four new low-cost multi-asset funds focused on long-term savings following the UK’s pension reforms.
Aberdeen’s investment solutions arm manages over €129 billion (around $141 billion) in multi-asset portfolios on behalf of clients globally.
