ZEDRA Names New Luxembourg Managing Director

ZEDRA has appointed Peter Brown as managing director of its Luxembourg office to help increase growth.
Working with Wim Ritz, ZEDRA’s global head of funds, Brown will oversee ZEDRA’s Luxembourg operations and the team of experts to unlock new opportunities for the firm’s funds, corporate, and private clients.
Brown, who has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, has served in senior roles in fund and corporate services, finance and institutional banking, the firm said in a statement. He will enhance the delivery of end-to-end services to alternative fund managers, driving business growth and enhancing service delivery in Luxembourg.
Brown spent the last four years with a fund and corporate services provider focusing on institutionally-backed alternative fund managers in Luxembourg. He was responsible for growth, improving colleague engagement, and enhancing service delivery. Prior to this, he held senior positions in banking where he led teams across the UK and Europe providing structured lending, cash management, capital markets and depositary services to leading institutional clients.
He is committed to supporting the sustainable development of the Luxembourg funds industry, and helping others engage in the local community. Brown is also a council member for the British Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg, fostering business collaboration between the UK and Luxembourg.
The appointment follows ZEDRA’s announcement in the summer of its partnership with Luxembourg-based CreaPartners, a provider of corporate, investment funds, and family office services. Brown will be working with the firm’s new CreaPartners colleagues to integrate the teams and create a business focused on delivering fund and corporate solutions for emerging managers and mid-market funds.
