Many children around the world are kept from their right to an education because of their gender, their ability, or simply where they live. They are excluded from schooling and other opportunities when forcibly uprooted from their homes because of conflict, persecution, poverty, and climate change. These factors keep children from their childhood, and their futures.

Play can provide children with a safe space away from conflict. It helps children overcome trauma and discrimination, return to learning, and build life and leadership skills.

Play saves lives.

Thanks to a group of generous RTP UK donors, every donation made to the charity between 28 November 2023 and 9 January, 2024, will be matched, up to £50,000 ($62,618).

This means that a donation of £30 will protect, educate, and empower two children for an entire year using the power of play.

If you sign up to give monthly during the six-week period of RTP UK’s festive giving campaign, your pledge for the whole of 2024 will be matched.

A gift of Â£15 a month will protect, educate and empower 12 children for a year using the power of play. You can also give the gift of play by donating towards a festive card and watch your generous gesture multiply. All donations and gifts made in the next six weeks will be matched.
