Wilmington Trust appoints chief fiduciary officer

And the wealth-management company's Florida subsidiary gets a new president. Kemp Stickney has been made chief fiduciary officer of Wilmington Trust's Wealth Advisory Services (WAS) division. The former president of Wilmington Trust FSB Florida is now responsible for managing WAS' Fiduciary Services department, which includes its estate-settlement and wealth-planning groups and the personal-trust administration team acquired through Wilmington Trust's recent purchase of AST Capital Trust.

And his replacement

"Kemp embodies the qualities of an ideal chief fiduciary officer," says WAS head Mark Graham. "In addition to his outstanding technical expertise and experience, Kemp possesses a deep understanding of client needs and concerns and he is a strong, credible leader. His integrity and counsel will be an asset to our clients and our business."

Sandra Fleming, an investment advisor with Wilmington Trust FSB Florida since 2003, has been tapped to fill Stickney's old role. She reports to Tony Guernsey, head of Wilmington Trust's National Private Wealth Management group.

In addition, Victoria Peaper -- who joined Wilmington Trust in 2006 after a 13-year stint with Brown Brothers Harriman's Florida trust subsidiary, ultimately as its COO -- has been promoted to v.p. and managing director of Wilmington Trust FSB Florida. She reports to Fleming.

Wilmington, Del.-based Wilmington Trust and its affiliates have offices in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Vermont and, overseas, in the Cayman Islands, the Channel Islands, the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. -FWR
