Wilmington Trust Adds Trio To Palm Beach Wealth Advisory Services

Wilmington Trust, the US wealth management firm, has made three hires for its wealth advisory services office in Palm Beach, Florida.

D Jeffery Dever is now a vice president and private client advisor. He joins the firm from Bernstein Global Wealth Management, where he was a vice president and financial advisor. Before that, he was a partner at Tribridge, a finance and management consulting firm, and was the founder of Savant, a technology, outsourcing and professional services company. He specializes in advising families with inherited wealth, corporate executives, owners of closely-held businesses and entreprenuers.

Elizabeth Murphy has also been named vice president and private client advisor. She joins Wilmington Trust after 11 years as the sole practitioner in her own law firm. She also previously served as assistant city attorney for the city of West Palm Beach.

Completing the trio is Jody Miller, who has been appointed as assistant vice president and fiduciary officer specializing in tax and estate planning. She joins the firm from Pressly and Pressly, where she provided analysis of income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues for litigation and estate planning.

"The continued expansion of our staff of wealth advisors reflects the growth in business in Palm Beach County and the increased demand for wealth advisory services for high net worth individuals and families in Florida," said Halsey Smith, managing director.

Wilmington Trust's wealth advisory service is meant for high net worth clients throughout the US and Europe.
