The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.

Capital Group
Capital Group has appointed Katharine Dryer as equity lead, Europe and Asia client group.

Dryer (pictured) will focus on expanding the firm’s equity distribution strategy and product development to provide a better service to institutional and intermediary clients across Europe and Asia. Based in London, she will report to Alexandra Haggard, head of asset class services, Europe and Asia client group.

This news follows the recent appointment of Scott Steele as fixed income lead, Europe and Asia client group.

These newly created roles are part of the firm’s strategic drive to increase its footprint in Europe and Asia by enhancing its distribution capabilities for equities and fixed income products in both regions.

Dryer has more than 25 years of industry experience. She was most recently deputy CIO at Jupiter Asset Management where she worked in a number of key roles for nearly10 years. Prior to that, she looked after multi-asset client strategy and held various senior positions at BlackRock. In addition, her past experience includes Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Deutsche Asset Management.

Andy Budden, investment director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Katharine to Capital Group. Working alongside the team, she will play a crucial role in building out and executing our equity commercialisation strategy across Europe and Asia. With her deep distribution and investment expertise, she will be pivotal in helping our clients build more resilient and diversified portfolios as we continuously expand our active equity strategies across Europe and Asia.”
