atomos
atomos, an advice-led
wealth manager, has appointed Rob Lambert (pictured) as a senior
portfolio manager based in its Lymington office.
Lambert has joined from WH Ireland, where he had worked for a decade. He became a qualified investment manager in 2005 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
Lambert has extensive experience working with individuals, trusts, charities and corporates to run their investment portfolios, either directly or alongside a financial planner.
atomos is a UK-based, digitally enabled, hybrid wealth business providing a full financial planning service and bespoke portfolio management. The company manages £7 billion ($8.3 billion) of investments and savings for around 8,000 clients.
Sanlam Investments
Sanlam
Investments has announced that Ben Hall has joined its
wholesale distribution team as a sales director.
Hall was most recently at Atlantic House, where he was a senior sales executive for two years, with coverage across discretionary fund managers, managed portfolio service managers, larger IFAs, asset managers, private banks and family offices. Prior to this he served in sales and distribution roles with Octopus Investments and WisdomTree.
Hall will be reporting to Tom Conquest, head of sales – UK wholesale, with a mandate to grow the boutique asset manager’s relationships with DFMs, MPS managers, and larger IFAs.
The sale of the Wealth and Life & Pensions businesses in 2022 means that Sanlam Investments has concentrated on building asset management. The team addition reinforces Sanlam Investments’ ambition to grow its sales force, which in turn will help underpin its goal of doubling AuM over the next seven to 10 years.
Liontrust
Stuart Steven is to retire from fund management in September 2023
after developing a fixed income team within the Lionstrust sustainable

Ross, Watson and Willis will continue to be supported by three sustainable future fixed income team members along with the rest of the 16-strong Liontrust sustainable investment team.
Steven has worked in the investment industry for 34 years, investing in fixed income markets for 29 of these. He joined the sustainable investment team in 2013 and moved to Liontrust with the rest of the team in 2017 when the company acquired Alliance Trust Investments, the firm continued.
