Progeny has appointed
Amanda Newell as the new head of its Belgium office.
Newell (pictured) will oversee plans to expand the office and develop it as Progeny’s base in mainland Europe. She will also focus on growing the team, building out capacity and defining the key role the expanded office will play in the wider Progeny business in Europe, the firm said in a statement.
Newell has worked in the Brussels office for a decade, and as a financial advisor for five years, with clients in Belgium, Luxembourg and France.
The office, which was initially established by The Fry Group, was acquired by Progeny in 2023.
Prior to joining The Fry Group, Amanda ran her own business in the interior design sector for 12 years and prior to that worked in various sales roles in the UK.

EdenTree
Investment Management, a specialist in responsible and
sustainable asset management, has appointed Hayley Grafton as
senior RI analyst to its Responsible Investment (RI) team.
Grafton will report to Carlota Esguevillas, head of RI. Grafton will be joining team members Amelia Gaston and Cordelia Dower Tylee, to working with EdenTree’s fund management team across the firm’s responsible, sustainable and impact fund range.
In her new role, Grafton will lead EdenTree’s corporate governance and proxy voting work. She will also work across the team’s core areas which include climate change, financial inclusion and water stress.
Grafton previously worked at Mercer Investment Solutions as a sustainable investment specialist, liaising with portfolio management teams to deliver the firm’s sustainable investment strategy and implement its stewardship framework. Prior to this, she worked with institutional clients across pensions, endowments and foundations in an advisory capacity, supporting trustees’ sustainable investment requirements and objectives.
Esguevillas said that Grafton’s “expertise and experience” would “complement the wealth of knowledge within our current team.”
Based in the heart of the City of London, EdenTree has £3.7
billion ($4.7 billion) of assets under management across its
range of funds.
Collas Crill
Collas Crill
has promoted Zachary Hoskin to partner and appointed Harry
Rasmussen as counsel in its Cayman Islands insolvency and
corporate disputes team.
Hoskin is an offshore litigator who has been practising in the
Cayman Islands for eight years. His practice focuses on
shareholder disputes with particular expertise in representing
minority shareholders in substantial, cross-border merger
appraisal litigation. He is also experienced in trusts and
financial services litigation and professional
indemnity/insurance litigation. Hoskin joined Collas Crill
in 2021, after spending 10 years at Mourant, according to his
LinkedIn profile.
Rasmussen, who is an offshore litigator, joined Collas Crill in
February. He has more than a decade's experience managing complex
cross-border litigation, including high-profile insolvency and
restructuring mandates. He has acted on the most prominent and
high-value s.238 merger appraisal dispute matters to come before
the Cayman courts.
Before moving to the Cayman Islands, Rasmussen worked in England
at Ogier and Mourant.
