Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – PIMFA, Boodle Hatfield

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes for wealth management and related sectors in the UK, rest of Europe, Middle East and select international locations.

PIMFA
PIMFA, a trade association for wealth management, investment services, and the personal investment and financial advice industry, has appointed Julia Sage-Bell as its new senior policy advisor.

Sage-Bell has joined PIMFA from M&G wealth platform, where she had been the chief compliance officer since 2021. Sage-Bell has worked in financial services her whole career, with the majority of that time spent in compliance roles. She has experience in managing teams in advisory, monitoring, and training and competence, working in a range of firms, from small advice businesses to life companies.

As the senior policy advisor, Sage-Bell will work with the PIMFA platform and discretionary fund manager (DFM) members to develop and advance relevant policy positions and enhance the voice of platforms and DFMs during an anticipated period of regulatory and legislative change. She will also provide support across a wide range of member compliance matters, ensuring that the industry's adherence to regulatory standards is upheld and engage with the Financial Conduct Authority and government.

Boodle Hatfield
Boodle Hatfield, a private wealth law firm, has appointed William Rollin as partner to join its family and divorce practice. He was previously at Charles Russell Speechlys.

Rollin has a practice covering matrimonial finance and family law, including resolving relationship breakdowns and proceedings in relation to private children matters. He is interested in financial issues and arrangements in respect of pensions and is experienced in advising on matters where it appears that there may be personality disorders and/or illnesses, including addiction.
