Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Liontrust, Principal Asset Management

Liontrust
Liontrust, the
UK asset manager, has appointed Alexander Game, CFA, as a
fund manager for the Liontrust Economic Advantage team.
Game (pictured) is a UK equity fund manager with particular expertise in investing in high-quality small and mid-cap stocks, the firm said in a statement.
He was previously at Unicorn Asset Management where he worked for almost a decade; he was manager on the Unicorn UK Growth Fund, Unicorn UK Smaller Companies Fund and Unicorn AIM IHT and ISA portfolio service.
“Alex is a natural fit for our team, bringing with him a strong track record of identifying attractive long-term investment opportunities and an investment ethos that is closely aligned to the Economic Advantage process,” Anthony Cross, head of the Liontrust Economic Advantage team, said. “We have always been alive to the importance of bringing fresh talent into the team to ensure we are well resourced for future growth and development, and we look forward to working closely with Alex when he joins in May.”
Liontrust was established in 1995 and listed on the London
Stock Exchange in 1999. Headquartered in London with additional
offices in Edinburgh and Luxemburg, Liontrust had £27.6 billion
($34.3 billion) in AuMA as at 12 April 2024.
Principal Asset Management
Principal
Asset Management has appointed Sylvain Agar as managing
director and head of distribution for the UK and
Ireland.
Agar will be responsible for leading sales and client efforts in
these regions across all asset classes and investment teams. He
will also be responsible for developing and implementing a
distribution plan to market Principal services to the
institutional and wealth management sector in the UK and Ireland.
Aga will report to Åsa Norrie, chief executive officer
and head of European distribution, Principal Asset
Management.
Agar comes to the role with over 16 years of experience in asset
management in Europe and Asia.
