Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Fidante, Consulting At Davies

Fidante
Partners, a global multi-affiliate investment management
business, has appointed Robert Elfström as sales director, public
markets, Nordics and Benelux distribution in its Stockholm
office.
Elfström brings more than two decades of experience in fund management distribution and business development. He has joined from BMO Global Asset Management, where he established the BMO brand in the Nordic region. Prior to this position, he spent a decade as a sales director for the Nordic region at Franklin Templeton Investments. He began his career as a client service executive for the Nordic region at Gartmore Investment.
At Fidante, Elfström will deliver against Fidante’s capital raising and client engagement strategies, responsible for developing an investor engagement strategy targeted at both wholesale and institutional channels in the Nordics and Benelux. He will focus on supporting Fidante’s open-ended fund range of affiliate managers.
Fidante is one of Australia’s largest active investors, offering strategies across equities, fixed income, and alternative assets, via partnerships with investment teams. It is a global investment management business with about $62 billion funds under management.
Consulting at Davies
Consulting at
Davies, formerly known as Sionic, a firm specialising in
improving business, technology and people performance across
financial services, has just announced three new additions to its
senior team. The three recruits come as the consulting firm
scales internationally.
Peter Keaveney has joined as a partner and head of the North American asset and wealth management practice, the firm said in a statement. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial services. Most recently, Keaveney served as a managing director at BNY Mellon within its asset servicing and digital business, leading the global middle-office outsourcing teams, as well as holding responsibility for the bank’s asset management client relationships.
His previous experience includes roles at Bankers Trust and Federal Home Loan Bank of New York. At Consulting at Davies he will lead the growth of the Asset & Wealth Management practice in North America, using his network of relationships with asset managers, asset owners, hedge funds and service providers to help grow the business’ reach across the region, the firm added.
Roshni Patel, who has been appointed as principal consultant at Consulting at Davies, is joining from Investment Software Group, where she was head of programme – delivery and operations. She brings over 10 years’ experience in project, programme and operations management across a range of clients, gained from leading teams to build, configure, deliver and embed technology solutions, the firm continued.
Matt Lonsdale is a director, bringing experience in financial services gained from senior positions at the likes of TMI, Arc, Pershing and most recently, Iress, the firm said. He spent the first decade of his career as a wealth manager, carrying out roles in stockbroking, financial planning, trading and operations, and has since focused on business development, strategy implementation and proposition.
