Brothers Asset Management has announced that Ed Mawle
(pictured) has joined as senior investment director, to help grow
the business.
Based in CBAM’s new office in Cheltenham, he will provide a discretionary investment management service, and manage direct client relationships across the region, the firm said in a statement.
Mawle has 25 years of experience in the asset and wealth management industry, and spent almost 20 years at Brewin Dolphin, before moving to Investec Wealth & Investment in 2017. Giles Marshall, head of bespoke at CBAM, said: “Ed’s appointment will help grow our expanding bespoke business, whilst building our increasingly wide regional presence in the UK.”

Russell Speechlys has appointed Simon Le Wita as a partner
within its Litigation and Dispute Resolution department. Simon is
joining the firm’s Paris office from the business law
firm, De Pardieu Brocas Maffei.
Le Wita has extensive experience in domestic and international commercial, banking, and financial litigation. He advises clients on shareholder and post-acquisition disputes, contract and tort litigation, debt restructuring, and insolvency and bankruptcy matters. He also advises French and foreign companies in all industry sectors, from credit institutions and investment funds to insurers, real estate companies, and suppliers, the firm said in a statement.
Frédéric Jeannin, managing partner of Charles Russell Speechlys Paris, said: "Simon's arrival is in line with the firm's strategy of developing our Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice and expanding our offering in France and internationally. Le Wita's appointment closely follows the arrival of Francis Ho
who joined as a partner within the firm’s construction and
infrastructure group last month.
Trowers & Hamlins
International law firm Trowers &
Hamlins has recruited partner Richard Jordan to join its
private wealth team in London.
Jordan specialises in advising international and UK based
ultra-high net worth individuals and families on all aspects of
UK tax, succession and family governance. A significant part of
his practice relates to legal work for trustees, private bankers,
family offices and others within the private wealth management
sector.
Before this role, Jordan worked for four years at Gateley where
he served as both head of international private wealth and
head of Gateley's London office.
