Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Cazenove Capital, Asset Risk Consultants, Others

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes among wealth management and related organisations in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle east, Africa and select international organisations.

Cazenove Capital
Cazenove Capital, the wealth management arm of investment manager Schroders in the UK, has appointed Sandra Dailidyte (pictured) as portfolio manager in Edinburgh.

This newly-created role reinforces Cazenove Capital's commitment to delivering a good service to its expanding community of entrepreneurs and business owners in Scotland. Her appointment is the latest development in Cazenove Capital’s regional growth strategy, the firm said in a statement.

Dailidyte has more than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry; previously she served as a client director at Brown Shipley and as a private client manager at Seven Investment Management.

“As we expand our regional presence, Sandra's addition to our team further strengthens our ability to deliver personalised and impactful guidance to our valued clients. Finding the best talent allows us to continue with our mission of managing our clients’ wealth with a global perspective, but local presence,” Bob Hair, head of Scotland at Cazenove Capital, said.

“Her appointment represents our ongoing commitment to providing bespoke wealth management services to business owners, entrepreneurs, wealthy individuals, and their families in Scotland,” he added.

Dailidyte is also knowledgeable in the field of philanthropy and serves as a board member of The Polar Academy, a charity that transforms the lives of children from challenging backgrounds through participation in Arctic expeditions. She is also an active member of Future Asset, an organisation dedicated to empowering teenage girls to pursue careers in financial services, the firm said.

Asset Risk Consultants
Asset Risk Consultants has appointed Dr James Cooke CFA as deputy chief investment officer

Dr Cooke, who is rejoining the firm, has extensive experience in global equity and multi-asset management. He spent the last five years at Ashburton Jersey Limited, the global and offshore investment manager of FirstRand Group, Africa’s largest financial institution. During his time there, Dr Cooke was head of global equity and director of investments, overseeing over $1 billion in assets under management. He led the active global equity team, whose strategies were implemented across the FirstRand Group and contributed to the firm’s multi-asset investment process.

Dr Cooke first joined ARC as an investment consultant in 2018 after spending seven years as an investment manager at SVM Asset Management (now River Global Investors) in Edinburgh, managing its World Equity Fund. In his new role, he will work closely with ARC’s chief investment officer to strengthen and expand the CIO function, enhancing portfolio strategies, improving risk management processes and driving innovation in investment solutions. His leadership will play a key part in ensuring that ARC continues to offer “cutting-edge investment advice,” the firm said in a statement.

"Jimmy’s deep expertise in global equity and multi-asset strategies, along with his vision for improving the CIO function, will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our service to clients," Stephen McMahon, ARC Group CEO, said.

Wren Investment Office
London-based Wren Investment Office, a multi-family investment office, advising families, family offices and foundations, has appointed Jo Robinson as client relationship director, along with a trio of new analysts.

Robinson, who has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry, will manage existing client relationships and developing new ones.

Robinson was previously a fund manager at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank looking after UHNW private clients, pension funds and charities. Subsequently, at Barclays Private Bank, she managed the advisory fund management desk before moving to a relationship management role working with UHNW families.

Robinson, who has board-level experience in independent education, is also an educational charity trustee which the firm said will prove invaluable to Wren’s growing endowment client base.

Wren’s recent expansion includes advancing its data, analytics and client service teams: Vladislava Cusnir is joining as a client reporting associate; Tiwalola Obadeyi as a client relationship assistant; and Savan Shah as an operational associate.

“These are all very important additions to Wren which will ensure our clients continue to have the brightest people and the critical mass to look after their varied interests with fiduciary integrity,” Michael Parsons, CEO, said.“The most successful families and endowments treat their wealth as an ‘enterprise,’ having it managed like a business, with structure, strategy and appropriate progress measurements. Our aim is to bring these component parts together efficiently as we would in a well-run company, guiding clients where they need advice and enabling families and trustees to find the best from the investment world, helping them protect, grow and enjoy their wealth.”

Wren is part of an international alliance consisting of Wren in the UK, WE Family Offices in the United States and MdF Family Partners in Continental Europe.
