(CGWM UK) has appointed two business development directors, Toby
Gower and Francis Walker, to its independent financial advisor
(IFA) sales team to expand its reach in the IFA market.
Gower will focus on building relationships in the Southwest of England and with national financial advisor firms and networks, the firm said in a statement. Gower was formerly a strategic account manager at M&G Wealth for three years.
Walker, who will be based in the North of England, will focus on building IFA relationships in that region, the firm added. He is joining from abrdn, where he was a business development manager for over five years working with financial planning businesses.

Brothers Asset Management has bolstered its London office
with the appointment of Sally Fawcitt as senior investment
manager.
Based at the company’s Mayfair office, Fawcitt will provide bespoke investment services for high net worth clients, the firm said in a statement. She will bring almost 25 years of industry experience to the team which includes Tim Eliot-Cohen, Oliver Harvey and Simon Heathcoat-Amory.
Fawcitt was previously investment director at UK wealth manager Evelyn Partners, where she worked for almost 20 years. Responsible for managing advisory and discretionary portfolios, for both private clients and trusts, she was also a trustee for the Evelyn Partners Charitable Trust and has a keen interest in charitable endeavours.
“With a long and successful record in the industry, Sally will make a huge contribution to our bespoke offering,” Giles Marshall, head of bespoke at CBAM, said.
