Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Tolleson, Raymond James, Others

The latest moves in senior wealth management from across the US.
Tolleson Wealth Management
Tolleson
Wealth Management, the RIA referred to elsewhere
today in this news service, has promoted one of its senior
figures, Royce Ramey, to the newly-minted role of chief
experience officer. It’s a post from which he will oversee how
clients’ interactions with the business is kept at a high
level.
Ramey will sit on the firm’s governing CEO Council and will be
responsible for the strategic integration of service lines while
ensuring team members have the training, technology, and support
to deliver a seamless client experience.
That such a role is being created highlights how managing the
client experience is not a nebulous area but a vital one at a
time when COVID-19, digital disruption and changing wealth
patterns make client satisfaction and retention urgent
priorities.
“Royce has contributed significantly to Tolleson Wealth
Management’s growth and success over the last 10 years, and this
new role will allow him to focus even more time and energy on
ensuring that every client interaction is thoughtful and aligned
with our brand,” Richard Joyner, president of Tolleson Wealth
Management, said.
“Client service remains the pinnacle of our approach to wealth
management. We spent the last few years investing in our
technology and modernizing communications so that we can bring
these important elements together in a way that positively
impacts the client experience.”
Ramey will also remain responsible for the oversight and
management of Tolleson Wealth Management’s multi-disciplinary
client advisory team that engages directly with clients on their
financial and planning needs.
Prior to joining Tolleson Wealth Management in 2010, Ramey
provided family office services to ultra-high net worth families
at GenSpring Family Offices in the Phoenix, Arizona area. He
graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of business
administration in finance and master of science in finance from
Texas Tech University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst®
(CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and its
Dallas-Fort Worth Society.
Raymond James
Raymond James

advisor channel.
Grant, who has joined from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he managed
more than $230 million in client assets, manages the new RJFS
Abilene branch in Texas. He has been in the financial services
industry for 26 years.
Prior to joining Raymond James, he was the managing director at
Wells Fargo Advisors in Abilene, where he worked for more than 20
years. He is a graduate of Howard Payne University.
Rockefeller
Rockefeller
Capital Management has appointed David Eder as a senior vice
president and private wealth advisor, based in its Greenwich,
Connecticut office.
Eder is accompanied by Augustin Delgado, who will serve as a VP
and private wealth analyst at the US firm. They previously worked
at JP Morgan Securities in White Plains and specialize in
managing comprehensive investment needs for wealthy individuals
and their families.
Elder has been in the financial services industry since 1995. He
began his career as an institutional trader where the industry
then inspired him to move to the wealth management side. He
attended the Peddie School in Princeton, New Jersey and graduated
from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in international
relations.
Delgado joined Rockefeller this month. He began his career in
financial services while enrolled at Baruch College by interning
with JP Morgan Chase. After graduating he joined Morgan Stanley
in their asset management research division. A few years later,
Augie decided to return to academia to get his MBA from Fordham
University where he graduated magna cum laude. After Fordham, he
returned to JP Morgan where he spent almost a decade working in
various wealth management roles.

chief fiduciary officer of its west region, which includes
Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. Holtzclaw previously
served as corporate counsel for Argent Financial Group and a
trust officer in the Ruston office of Argent Trust.
Holtzclaw will oversee trust administrators, investment officers
and coordinate with the wealth management division to ensure
customers’ needs are met while maintaining profitability and
adherence to regulations. Holtzclaw will report to Reid Harrell,
chief executive of Argent Trust Company.
Before joining Argent, Holtzclaw served as vice president and
assistant compliance officer at Progressive Bank in Monroe,
Louisiana. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from
