Schroders
Schroders has
appointed Charles Prideaux as head of solutions,
effective 2 October, the firm said in a statement.
Prideaux will report into Richard Mountford, global head of
the product division. He will be responsible for Schroders'
solutions business which delivers strategic advice, customisation
and risk management to institutional and intermediary investors
globally.
Prior to joining Schroders, he worked for BlackRock and its
former companies since 1988, where his past roles included being
head of institutional client business for Europe, Middle East and
Africa, and most recently as head of active investments for
EMEA.
This appointment follows a decision by John McLaughlin to
retire from the asset management industry at the end of this
year. The firm said: "We thank John for the tremendous
contribution he has made to Schroders over the past 24
years."
JP Morgan Asset Management
JP Morgan
Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed John Adu as UK head of
exchange-traded fund distribution and Tom Stephens as head
of JP Morgan ETF international capital markets, the firm said in
a statement.
Both Adu and Stephens will be based in London and will report
to Byron Lake, who was appointed head of international ETFs
in March this year.
In his role as UK head of ETF distribution, Adu will focus on
building relationships with UK professional investors and
delivering JPMAM’s ETF capabilities to clients. As head of JP
Morgan’s ETF capital markets desk, Stephens will be responsible
for leading the firm's capital markets group.
Adu joins from Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for
cross-asset distribution of alternative, active and passive
strategies to UK clients. Stephens joins from Societe Generale
Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) where he was head of ETF
execution sales in Europe working with ETF clients, global ETF
issuers and key internal stakeholders.

Horwath International, the network of professional services
firms around the world, has elected David Mellor, former chief
executive of Crowe, Clark Whitehill - one of its member firms -
as Crowe Horwath's new CEO.
The organisation is made up of more than 200 member firms,
operating in nearly 130 countries. Mellor's appointment is
effective as of 1 April 2018. He will succeed Kevin McGrath, who
will retire on 31 March 2018 and has served as CEO since
2012.
