Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Rothschild & Co, BNY Mellon WM

The latest senior moves in the North America wealth management market.
Rothschild
& Co has appointed Timothy Lufkin as a managing
director in the financial sponsors group in its global
advisory business in North America.
Lufkin brings more than 25 years of investment banking and
sponsor coverage experience to the job, where he will help manage
and grow the firm’s relationships with private equity clients.
Lufkin will be based in New York.
Global advisory, a division of the Rothschild & Co group, designs
and executes strategic M&A and financing solutions and
advises large and mid-sized corporations, private equity,
families, entrepreneurs, and governments.

recognized for his leadership in the industry. He is an
innovative dealmaker and his experience and expertise will

of Rothschild & Co North America. “Tim’s proven ability to
develop business-oriented solutions for clients and to create

Prior to this, Lufkin was a managing director in the financial
sponsors group with Truist Securities. Before that, he worked
with private equity clients at American Capital where he was an
MD in the firm’s sponsor finance group; Lufkin also served as an
MD at Cowen in New York where he originated and executed
mid-market M&A deals for private equity backed companies.
Lufkin spent the early part of his career with DLJ Securities,
working for over 10 years with both public and private middle
market companies.

Mellon Wealth Management has named Patrice Wetzel as senior
client strategist, joining from Wells Fargo’s private bank.
In her new role, Wetzel works with ultra-high net worth families,
including business owners, corporate executives, private equity
and hedge fund principals, family offices, and foundations and
endowments on their comprehensive wealth needs. She is based in
Chicago and reports to regional president Stacie Kuhlman.
Wetzel brings over 30 years of financial experience to this role,
including two decades of wealth and 15 years of large corporate
lending experience. She joins BNY Mellon Wealth Management from
Wells Fargo Private Bank where she served as senior private
banker in its private bank group. Prior to this, she worked in a
senior role at Northern Trust Private Banking.
Patrice earned a bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College and a
master of business administration from Loyola University. She
also holds a Series 7 license and Series 66 license. Patrice is
an active member of her community and has served on a variety of
community boards.
