The latest senior moves in asset and wealth management from across Europe and the UK.

Preqin
London-based Preqin, which provides data, tools and insights on alternative assets such as private equity and the hedge fund sector, has appointed Tom Hunt as its new chief technology officer. 

Hunt was formerly a technology leader at Kantar and GlobalWebIndex, both market research and data analytics companies. 

He is joining the firm at a time when it is building out solutions and technology partnerships. Preqin recently launched a suite of ESG data solutions that brings transparency and comparability to the private markets and a managed data service that provides limited partners with full-service portfolio reporting. This year, it expanded its partnership network to make its leading alternative assets data available to customers through the Amazon Web Service Data Exchange and Snowflake Partner Network.

Preqin has engineering and information technology teams located across the Americas, Europe and Asia. In 2020, it opened its 12th global office in Dubai and will open in Frankfurt this year.
