Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - PineBridge Investments, DNCA, Quilter Cheviot, Others

Here is a round-up of the latest personnel moves in the European wealth management sector.

PineBridge Investments
Global multi-asset investment manager PineBridge Investments has appointed Gregory Ohlson as consultant relations manager, the firm said in a statement.

Ohlson joins PineBridge’s EMEA consultant relations team, which is led by Mandy Adamou, managing director, global consultant relations. Ohlson will be based in London.

He has 21 years of experience in asset management. Prior to joining PineBridge Investments, he was a senior relationship manager at Candriam Investors Group, where he was responsible for developing and managing relationships with strategically important clients. Ohlson has also worked at at Legal & General Investment Management, Itau Asset Management, AEGON Asset Management and AXA Investment Managers.

DNCA
DNCA, an affiliate of Natixis Global Asset Management, has appointed Pascal Gilbert and François Collet as absolute return bond fund specialists, the firm said in a statement.
 
The new team will enable DNCA to offer new absolute return strategies on international bonds. They will set up absolute return bond investment strategies on a global asset universe and inflation strategies, which will be launched before the end of the year.

Gilbert has held various posts since 1988.  He joined La Française des Placements in 2001, which later became La Française AM in 2011, as head of bond funds, where he was in charge of a team of seven staff.

Collet joined Natixis Global Asset Management as a bond fund manager in 2003. In 2006, he joined La Française AM and worked in Gilbert’s team as deputy head of bond portfolio management, more particularly in charge of the inflation theme.

Quilter Cheviot
Quilter Cheviot has said it will add three new investment managers to its London office to form a new team, bringing the firm's total number of London-based money managers to 69.

Mats Arthursson, Suneet Kumar and James Gatehouse have a combined 48 years' experience in the industry.

JM Finn
JM Finn has appointed John Eastgate as investment director to its London office, the firm said in a statement.

He will join the firm following the completion of his contractual notice period with his previous employer.

Eastgate spent the last 16 years building up a business at WH Ireland, latterly as deputy head of wealth management, where he focused on managing portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. He will join up with his former colleague, Edward Furness-Smith, who joined JM Finn in January. 

JM Finn is a UK investment manager, specialising in private client services. Its offices are in London, Bristol, Leeds, Cardiff, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
