Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Northern Trust, Cavendish Asset Management

The latest moves in wealth management across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Northern Trust
Financial services firm Northern Trust has appointed Mike Mahoney as a transition manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Based in London, Mahoney will focus on transition management services for insurance companies and financial institutions across the region. He will be responsible for all aspects of the transition event life cycle, encompassing assignment origination, relationship management, execution strategy and end-to-end project management.

He will report to Craig Blackbourn, who was appointed as head of transition management for EMEA in January 2017. 

Mahoney joins from State Street Global Markets, where he was a transition manager and portfolio trader for the last eight years.

Cavendish Asset Management
Cavendish Asset Management has appointed Nick Burchett as manager of UK Equities. 

Burchett will now work directly alongside fund manager Paul Mumford to advise and assist across Cavendish’s clients, with a focus on investment timing and improving the trade execution process.

He joins from Investec, where he has worked for nearly 30 years as head of dealing for Investec Wealth & Investment UK, specialising in smaller companies.
