Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - HSBC Global AM

The latest moves in wealth management across Asia-Pacific.

HSBC Global Asset Management
HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Sebastien Faucher as head of passive fixed income to its investment team. This is a newly-created role.

Based in London, Faucher will functionally report to Xavier Baraton global chief investment officer, fixed income, and locally to Philip Glaze, CIO UK.

He joins from Legal & General Investment Management, where he was head of index fixed income, responsible for ongoing fund management activities across all index fund strategies, including fund implementation, client on boarding, and portfolio transition.

Previously, from 2006 to 2008, Faucher was investment manager at SSgA Global Fixed Income. He has also held roles with the National Bank of Canada, both in Montreal and London.

As part of its ongoing commitment to meet client needs, HSBC Global Asset Management plans to unveil a number of passive fixed income products as part of a new UCITS fund range.
