The latest senior moves in the wealth management sector for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Gen II Luxembourg Services SARL, the Luxembourg-based business of
Gen II
Fund Services, which is a private equity fund administrator,
has added Martin Dobbins and Chris Edge to its Luxembourg board
of directors.
Dobbins joins with more than 30 years of financial and technology
experience in the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Currently Dobbins
is the chief executive and founder of Sage Advisory, an advisory
firm providing US, Asian and European asset managers, financial
services firms and fintech companies with independent
directorship and advisory services.
Prior to this, Dobbins was CEO and country head for State Street
Corporation's European and Luxembourg banks where he chaired the
Luxembourg executive group.
Edge has more than three decades of experience in the financial
services industry, serving as the former head of major asset
service provider banks in Luxembourg, including JPMorgan and
HSBC. Most recently, he led PwC Luxembourg’s innovation and
transformation solutions for the asset management and asset
service provider sector.
Gen II administers over $350 billion of private capital for
clients with offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston,
Stamford, Dallas, and Luxembourg.
SYZ Group
Switzerland’s SYZ
Group and Banque SYZ have appointed senior business figure
Marlene Nørgaard Carolus to their boards, taking over from Casper
Kirk Johansen, board member since 2015.
She will represent his interests as a shareholder, as well as
those of clients in the Nordic region, the organisations said in
a statement last week.
Listed as one of the top 100 most influential women in Denmark,
who was just inducted into the prestigious Danish “Who’s Who”,
Marlene Nørgaard Carolus has more than three decades of
experience in the investment industry. She has held positions in
portfolio management, sales and business development across
multiple markets.
Since 2004, she has also been appointed to multiple boards of
financial companies – notably on the executive board of Danske
Bank International – and serves as a non-executive member on the
boards of various businesses and non-profit organisations,
including ART 2030 – a non-profit uniting art with the United
Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the Danish
commercial foundation, Olga & Esper Boels.
She graduated from Copenhagen Business School with an EMBA degree
and holds an executive education degree on improving the
effectiveness of corporate boards from Harvard University. In
2019, she completed a board leadership masterclass at Copenhagen
Business School. Marlene Nørgaard Carolus is CEO of Danish
fintech company Mybanker, which matches individuals with banking
services, helping Danish customers optimise their banking
conditions and finances.
