Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Axiom Alternative Investments, Carmignac, Others

The latest moves in wealth management across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Axiom Alternative Investments
Axiom Alternative Investments, the French asset manager with offices in London and Paris, has appointed Laurent Henrio as portfolio manager and Antonio Roman as research analyst.

Henrio, who brings 16 years of experience in credit trading to the role, joins Axiom from Société Générale.  At Axiom, Henrio will be responsible for managing the new Axiom Synthetic Credit Opportunity Fund.

Roman joins Axiom as an analyst in its London research team, responsible for developing quantitative models under Solvency II and Basel III. Roman started his career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in 2016.

Carmignac
Asset manager Carmignac has appointed Raphael Gallardo as chief economist. He will report to Frederic Leroux, head of Carmignac’s cross asset team.

Gallardo joins Carmignac from Ostrum Asset Management (previously Natixis Asset Management). He began his career at BNP Paribas where he spent ten years before moving on to become head of macroeconomic research, first at AXA Investment Managers and then Rothschild & Cie.

Dolfin
Dolfin, the independent wealth management platform, has appointed Nick McCall as head of wealth management.

McCall has over 30 years' experience in the financial services industry. He was most recently leading private wealth firms such as Hay Hill, Falcon Private Wealth and Clariden Leu. Before that, he had senior roles at Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch.

He joins Dolfin to strengthen its sales and trading capabilities, and lead a team of private client relationship managers.
