AllianceBernstein
Investment group AllianceBernstein

appointing Honor Solomon as head of retail EMEA, and Mike
Thompson to head the firm’s global fixed income business
development strategy.
Solomon, will be joining from Legal & General Investment Management, where she spent seven years as head of retail distribution. She will oversee strategy, management and distribution for AB’s EMEA retail business, and build out further regional growth, the group said. Solomon will join the firm in the first quarter of 2022 and report to head of global client group, Onur Erzan.
As global head of fixed income business development, Thompson will be responsible for driving growth for the fixed income range worldwide. He will be joining from UK alternatives asset manager ICG, where he has been global head of the financial institutions group and European head of marketing and client relations.
Thompson spent 15 years before that at PIMCO, where he was head
of Asia ex-Japan and, before that, he was head of third-party
distribution in Europe. He has also spent time at fixed-income
large fixed income managers including Western Asset Management
and Franklin Templeton. Thompson will join AB in December.
