The latest senior moves in wealth and asset management across Europe and the UK.

Aegon Asset Management
In a newly-created role, global asset manager Aegon Asset Management has appointed Lindsay Hudson as head of inclusion and diversity. She will also join the company’s senior management team.

The UK-based role carries global responsibility for inclusion and diversity across Aegon AM, with Hudson reporting to chief risk and compliance officer Jane Daniel.

Hudsom was formerly EMEA head of diversity and inclusion at Invesco, establishing the firm’s I&D programme. Before that, she was Invesco’s EMEA operations governance manager, and also spent a decade at Courtiers Investment Services leading acquisitions and sales and operations.

Externally, Hudson sits on the steering committee of the Diversity Project, promoting inclusion in financial services, and active on the theme as an Investment Association and Women In Finance Charter member.

“By establishing this new role, we ensure dedicated resource and co-ordination for our inclusion and diversity agenda, both internally and externally, and underscore the importance of inclusion and diversity to our organisation,” Daniel said.

Harneys
Offshore law firm Harneys has named Henry Mander as the new global practice head of trusts and private client litigation. It also appointed team members John McCarroll and Chris Pease as partners, and promoted several figures to the status of counsel.

Pease advises on all aspects of commercial disputes and insolvency matters, particularly specialising in disputes concerning fraud and bribery; asset recovery; applications for interim injunctive relief; and applications for pre-action and third-party disclosure.

In addition, Harneys promoted seven personnel to counsel: Kimberly Crabbe-Adams, Sonia Hamshaw, Valentina Hadjisoteriou, Marcia McFarlane, James Smith, Sarah Thompson, and Carolynn Vivian.

The firm advises an international client base on BVI, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Bermuda and Anguilla law.
