ZEDRA
ZEDRA, a global provider
of corporate and global expansion, active wealth, pension and
incentive services, and fund solutions, has appointed Mark
McKeary as commercial director to support its global fund
solutions team. He will report to Wim Ritz, global head of funds.
London based, McKeary will be working closely with ZEDRA’s wider fund solutions team to advise fund managers who want to establish new investment funds, outsource fund administration or change fund administrators. In particular, he will help guide fund managers on the best jurisdiction for their fund, in accordance with their specific needs, the firm said in a statement.
ZEDRA’s fund solutions team of nearly 100 experts is spread across locations including Luxembourg, the Channel Islands, Cayman Islands, Singapore, Curaçao, the US, and now the UK. The team provides the full range of fund administration services for both open and closed-ended funds to global clients.
Prior to joining ZEDRA, Mark held senior positions including the role of commercial director with several leading fund administration players. With over 15 years’ experience, McKeary has extensive knowledge of the funds sector’s intricacies, and his proven track record is impressive, the firm said.

Evelyn
Partners, the integrated wealth management and professional
services group, has appointed Will Thompson as a financial
planning director in its Bristol office.
Thompson was previously at Rathbones where he spent the past three and a half years as a senior financial planner. Prior to that he worked for 11 years at Old Mill where he was associate director. Thompson has experience of advising high net worth individuals, families and trustees in a range of planning and tax-based areas, the firm said in a statement.
The firm said it is confident that someone of Thompson’s calibre will be a boost for its financial planning team.
Located in the heart of the city, Evelyn Partners’ Bristol office provides a range of services, including financial planning, investment management and tax advice.

Saffery
Champness has made five promotions in Guernsey,
including the appointment of a trust transformation manager. The
promotions, which also include senior trust officer and trust
officer, took effect in July.
Under the move, Joe Cardoso-Smale, who has been with the private client firm for 15 years, has been promoted to the newly-formed trust transformation manager role as part of Saffery’s commitment to enhancing its service to clients, the firm said in a statement. Cardoso-Smale said the promotion was a culmination of the development of his role over the last nine months.
In addition to his promotion, Saffery has promoted Alex Burt and Joe Wright to senior trust officer and Laura Bean and Hugo Russell to trust officer.
