Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – VG, Jersey, Wealthify, Ocorian

The latest moves, appointments, and personnel changes in wealth management for the UK, rest of Europe, Middle East and select international jurisdictions.
VG
VG, a Jersey-based private
wealth, funds and corporate services provider, has appointed
Stacey Anne Sunley (pictured below) as associate director in its
private wealth division. The appointment is part of VG’s next
phase of growth after Mayfair Equity Partners’ invested in
VG.

Sunley, who operates from Jersey, will work with Debbie Lumsden, private wealth director, and other directors at VG. The firm employs 110 people and has been in existence for more than 40 years.
Wealthify
UK-based Wealthify,
an investment and savings service, has appointed Jessie Kwok as
its chief investment officer, succeeding Colleen McHugh.
McHugh will continue to contribute to Wealthify as part of its investment committee and as an investment consultant.
Kwok was previously a senior investment director for over three
years at Investec. Her notable achievements also include roles as
investment lead at Fidelity International, where she launched a
digital advice and discretionary portfolio solution. She also
held portfolio manager positions at London & Capital,
Schroders and HSBC. Kwok is a CFA Institute Charterholder with
certificates in sustainable finance and ESG investing.
Ocorian
Ocorian has appointed
Simona Watkis (pictured below) as head of its private client arm
in the Cayman Islands. Watkis, who brings a decade of wealth
management experience to the role, was most recently president
and CEO at PROVEN Wealth, and previously chief executive at NCB
Capital Markets.

Watkis has a background in designing and implementing bespoke,
sustainable wealth management strategies that meet the diverse
needs of high net worth individuals, family offices, and
institutional clients, which makes her the ideal person to expand
Ocorian’s presence in the region and contribute to its global
growth in 2025.
Ocorian manages more than 17,000 structures on behalf of more
than 8,000 clients including financial institutions,
large-scale international organisations, and high net worth
individuals. Ocorian’s locations include Bermuda, BVI, Cayman,
Denmark, Guernsey, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, the Isle of Man,
Jersey, Luxembourg, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Norway,
Singapore, Sweden, the UAE, the UK, and the US. It employs
more than 1,500 professionals.
