seven years.
Spencer has served in a range of roles at Orbis since
2008.
A privately owned business, Orbis has more than £28 billion of

Premier Miton
London-based asset manager Premier Miton has
appointed a new MPS investment director: Chris Robinson
(pictured) is joining the multi-manager investment team of its
newly-launched Model Portfolio Service, led by Ian Rees.
The Managed Portfolio Service offers two actively managed portfolio ranges consisting of four portfolios in each the Index range and the Blend range, which are competitively priced. The service uses the investment approach of Premier Miton’s multi-manager team, which has a track record of nearly three decades, the firm said in a statement.
Previously, Robinson, who has specialist knowledge and experience in MPS, worked for seven years as head of investment specialist team at Tatton.
“We are seeing increasing demand from advisors for cost-effective investment solutions that use the architecture of established investment platforms whilst tapping into the diversification benefits of multi-manager investing; we’ve combined the best of both worlds by providing access to our multi-manager team’s decades of investment experience and expertise, within an MPS framework, and we look forward to Chris helping us grow business into this area,” Jonathan Willcocks, Premier Miton’s global head of distribution, said.
