Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Oakglen Wealth, IW Capital
The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.
Independent investment manager, Oakglen Wealth (formerly known as
Oakbridge Wealth), has appointed Richard Firth as a
consultant and Michael Clarke as investment
director.
Firth, based in the UK, is a seasoned financial services
professional with a three-decade career. Firth's experience
includes executive positions at Quilter Cheviot, Cazenove, and
Greig Middleton. He is a chartered wealth manager and chartered
fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment
(CISI). Prior to joining Oakglen Wealth, Firth served as an
executive director and senior investment manager at Quilter
Cheviot Ltd.
Based in Jersey, Clarke will offer support and guidance to
private clients, family offices, and trust companies. Clarke has
more than 35 years of industry experience, having held senior
wealth management positions at HSBC and UBS. He is an associate
of the London Institute of Banking & Finance and a member and
securities representative of the CISI. Clarke's most recent
position was executive director and head of private clients at
UBS Wealth Management Jersey.
“Their extensive industry knowledge and impressive track records
will be invaluable as we continue to expand our wealth management
services and offer clients the highest level of
expertise,” Dominic Tayler, managing director (UK),
said.
Oakglen Wealth, which is part of the Oakglen Group, launched its
UK business in April 2023. The firm is marking a significant
step in expanding its presence in the investment management and
wealth advisory sector. The group is responsible for assets
exceeding £1 billion ($1.22 billion).

Capital, which has to date invested over £140 million ($170.9
million) of growth capital in support of UK small- and
medium-sized enterprises, has appointed David Fisher as senior
investment director.
Fisher’s appointment is another milestone in IW Capital’s growth
as it continues backing businesses and partnering with founders
and their teams, the firm said in a statement.
Fisher, who has more than 20 years of experience in venture and
growth investing, was formerly at Sussex Place Ventures and
spent 12 years at Edge Investments prior to that. Before joining
Edge, Fisher spent 10 years at two other fund managers including
Elderstreet Investments, which is now part of Molten Ventures. He
also worked at M&A Advisory and strategy consulting at
Deloitte and KPMG.

investments and deliver exits from our existing portfolio. We are
