Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Nucleus, Spectrum

The latest wealth management senior moves, appointments and changes in personnel in the UK, rest of Europe, Middle East and select international jurisdictions.

Nucleus
Nucleus Financial Platforms, the UK advisor platform group, has appointed two new non-executive directors to its board.

Cathryn Riley (pictured), who started on 1 May, will chair the remuneration committee, and Clare Bousfield (pictured below) will join on 1 July and chair the risk committee. They replace Judith Davidson and Kathryn Purves, respectively. The appointments are subject to regulatory approval, Nucleus said in a statement. 

Cathryn Riley

Riley has served on boards across the financial services industry in both public and private markets. She is a board member at the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and Liberty Managing Agency. Former NED roles have included AA Insurance Services Limited, the AA plc, Chubb European Group Limited, International Personal Finance PLC and Equitable Life Assurance Society.

Riley spent 17 years with Aviva where, in her final role, she was group chief operations officer. Prior to this she was group chief information officer. She has also held executive positions at BUPA, PWC and British Airways.

Bousfield chairs audit and risk for IVC Evidensia, and also recently joined the board of BUPA.  Previous NED roles have included RSA Insurance Group plc and Pacific Life Re Ltd.

In her executive career Bousfield was CEO for M&G retail and savings businesses and prior to that CFO with M&G plc, CFO with Aegon UK and held a number of senior roles with Swiss Reinsurance. 

Spectrum Investment Advisors
Spectrum Investment Advisors, an RIA, has made three additions to its team: Max Flanagan, Blaine Disrud, and Marina Moths. 

Flanagan is licensed as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Certified Financial Planner.

Disrud previously worked for Voit & Company and Annex Wealth Management as a research analyst and trader. 

Moths has spent 11 years at OneAmerica focusing on empowering employees with retirement plan education and engagement. She has passed Series 6 & 63, Wisconsin Life and Health insurance licenses.
