Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Moonfare, Evelyn Partners
The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in wealth management for the UK, continental Europe, Middle East, and select international locations.
Moonfare
Moonfare, a platform
for alternative investments such as private equity, has
appointed Sam Attwood as regional head of the UK.
Attwood, who recently completed his MBA at the London Business School and Columbia University, previously worked in client services for Hg Capital, the European and transatlantic software and services-focused private equity company.
In his new role, Attwood reports to Sam Boughton, Moonfare director and head of EMEA.
In September this year, Berlin-headquartered Moonfare hired Blackstone and EQT alumnus Adam Banks as its new Singapore-based head of the Asia-Pacific region.
Moonfare is an example of the kind of tech-driven business, such
as CAIS (US) and iCapital (also US) that have arisen in previous
years to make it easier for high net worth individuals to access
private markets and other alternative sectors such as hedge
funds. Moonfare enables eligible investors to register and invest
directly online.

a newly formed role – worked for 23 years at HSBC, most recently
within HSBC Global Asset Management, where she was ultimately the
head of World Selection and Strategy Funds. She reports to chief
asset management officer Edward Park.
