Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Investec

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle east and select international locations.

Investec
Investec Wealth & Investment has appointed Faye Church as senior financial planning director at its Guildford office to grow the business.

Her appointment is the latest in a series of new hires as Investec bolsters its team of investment managers and financial planners within its wealth management business, the UK wealth manager said. Her appointment also adds another senior female to the all-female team of financial planners at Investec’s Guildford office.

Church, whose career spans over 20 years, is joining Investec from Close Brothers Asset Management.

As an experienced financial planner who has developed a client base throughout Surrey, West Sussex and London, Church will provide clients with inheritance tax planning, pensions and retirement planning, and advice at the point of retirement and during divorce, the firm added.

Welcoming her to the firm, Alex Charalambous, regional head and director of private clients for the South and London, said: “We are excited to continue our goal to build Investec Wealth & Investment into a business that is truly market-leading. Continuing to drive recruitment in our regional offices is an important part of our strategy to bring our advice-led products and services closer to clients throughout the UK.”
