Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Hargreaves Lansdown, Comgest

The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.

Hargreaves Lansdown
Hargreaves Lansdown, the UK financial advisory and wealth management group, has appointed Toby Vaughan as its new chief investment officer, taking the helm from Lee Gardhouse, who is leaving after 28 years to pursue new challenges, the firm said.

Prior to Brown Shipley, Vaughan was head of multi-strategy solutions at Santander Asset Management, a fund manager at LV Asset Management and a director of asset allocation at F&C Asset Management.

Comgest
Comgest, the equities investment firm, has added to its US strategy team, appointing Alicia Zhang and Francesco Manfredini as analysts based in Paris.

Zhang has more than 10 years’ experience covering US stocks. Before joining Comgest in 2022, she worked at SAFE Investment Company (a Chinese sovereign wealth fund) in Hong Kong as an analyst covering the US healthcare sector, before becoming a sector portfolio manager in 2018. Previously, she was also a research analyst at Spring Capital in Shanghai, focusing on US growth stocks.

Prior to joining Comgest this year, Manfredini spent three years with Clartan Associés as an analyst and portfolio manager.
