Lansdown, the UK financial advisory and wealth management
group, has appointed Toby Vaughan as its new chief investment
officer, taking the helm from Lee Gardhouse, who is
leaving after 28 years to pursue new challenges, the firm
said.
Prior to Brown Shipley, Vaughan was head of multi-strategy
solutions at Santander Asset Management, a fund manager at LV
Asset Management and a director of asset allocation at F&C
Asset Management.
Comgest
Comgest, the equities
investment firm, has added to its US strategy team, appointing
Alicia Zhang and Francesco Manfredini as analysts based in
Paris.
Zhang has more than 10 years’ experience covering US stocks.
Before joining Comgest in 2022, she worked at SAFE Investment
Company (a Chinese sovereign wealth fund) in Hong Kong as an
analyst covering the US healthcare sector, before becoming a
sector portfolio manager in 2018. Previously, she was also a
research analyst at Spring Capital in Shanghai, focusing on US
growth stocks.
Prior to joining Comgest this year, Manfredini spent three years
with Clartan Associés as an analyst and portfolio manager.
