The latest moves and appointments in the North America wealth management and related sectors.

Ameriprise has
brought in financial advisors Jim Guthrie and Stephen Rouner,
joining from Merrill Lynch with $320 million of client assets.
They are based in Tacoma, Washington.
The advisors, whose practice operates under the name Guthrie
Rouner Group, are joined by registered client service associate
Nick Vanderlinda and their practice .
The group is supported locally by Ameriprise branch manager David
Cook, Ameriprise complex director Peter Groeschel, and Ameriprise
regional vice president Jamie Frisone.

Raymond James
has welcomed financial advisor Andrew M Spearman to its employee
advisor channel.
Based in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, near Detroit, Spearman
previously managed about $100 million in client assets at
SageView Advisory Group. He is part of the firm’s Eastern
Michigan complex.
Spearman brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial
services industry to his role of vice president, wealth
management. He began his career at Smith Barney, first as an
intern, and then spent 18 years there as an investment analyst
before collectively serving 12 years as a financial advisor at
Wells Fargo Advisors, First Allied Advisor Services and
SageView.
