Wells Fargo Adds Former Morgan Stanley Advisors To Team

Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network has hired two financial advisors from Morgan Stanley for its Maryland team.

David Greenleigh and Brian Luts join FiNet from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where they had $250 million in client assets under management and $1.5 million in commissions and fees. Both have been working for Morgan Stanley since 2009.

The appointments follow the hire of three advisory practices to its independent brokerage business in Utah and California in early September, bringing in advisors who previously managed some $673 million in client assets. Two were from Morgan Stanley and one from UBS.

Wells Fargo Advisors was born out of the Wells Fargo acquisition of Wachovia Corporation in 2009. Its brokerage business is represented by at least 15,000 financial advisors across the US.
