WealthTrust Taps Invesco for New COO

US wealth manager WealthTrust has appointed Holly Deem as chief operating officer. She will be based at the group's Nashville headquarters. Ms Deem joins from Invesco, where she was chief administrative officer and chief risk officer. Prior to that, she served in several senior roles within the investment management areas of Bank of America, including president of Private Investment and president of TradeStreet Investment Associates, the institutional investment subsidiary with assets under management of $85 billion. WealthTrust chief executive Rush Benton said: "Her ability to draw upon deep seated industry contacts will help WealthTrust to prioritise and implement tactical initiatives within a timely manner." WealthTrust is a holding company and strategic financial partner for US-based investment management firms that provide wealth management services to select individuals and families. It holds an equity interest in 11 affiliated firms in ten states which have approximately $8.6 billion in client assets collectively.
