Bankers with experience in international markets or wealth management are the hottest property across the US, according to a new study by executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates. According to Russell Reynolds the “hot hire” jobs include portfolio managers and analysts with knowledge of global, international and emerging markets. Private bankers, compliance officers, hedge fund executives, chief executives and chief operating officers are also among those in high demand. Boston in particular is becoming an attractive place for foreign financial firms to establish a presence, according to Jeff Garrity, managing director of Russell Reynolds. “They see Massachusetts as a very wealthy place,” he said. But New York, Los Angeles and Chicago are also on the radar screen of firms trying to build high-end wealth-management businesses, said Mr Garrity.
