Wealth Management Veteran Joins RIA

US-based Tiedemann Wealth Management has appointed Jennifer Mitchell as a managing director to boost its business development and client services. She reports to Craig Smith, president of the firm. Mitchell was most recently managing director at the investment and wealth management division of Barclays.

In her previous job, Mitchell concentrated on investment and wealth management services for ultra high net worth clients and built a client base around self-made first generation entrepreneurs and retired executives.

Previously, as a managing director at JP Morgan Private Bank, she worked with a client base that included Forbes 400 families, chief executives and entrepreneurs.

Tiedemann Wealth Management is a registered investment advisor, serving around 100 families with a total of $6.5 billion of investable assets. It was founded in 1999 and has offices in New York, Palm Beach and Los Angeles.
