Wealth Management Tech House Names Singapore-Based Asia-Pac Head

Temenos names industry veteran as its new head for Asia-Pacific

Temenos, the technology solutions provider that caters to the financial services industry, has named a head for its Asia-Pacific operations.

Martin Frick joins the Singapore office as head of Asia-Pacific, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in banking and banking technology. He has served as senior executive of Raiffeisen Bank in Switzerland, as well as executive director and head of custody processing service at UBS. More recently, he has been working in banking technology and was previously managing director of Asia-Pacific at Avaloq.

Temenos has a strong track record in Asia-Pacific. In 2013, its regional business grew licensing by 19 per cent and now records around $100 million in revenues. It serves more than 150 clients, including Bank of Shanghai and Bank Sinopac.

This market is expected to expand further in the next years, according to a study by industry analyst Gartner, which said that the Asia-Pacific banking software market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of at least 9 per cent to reach $2.7 billion in 2017.
