Walker Crips Nabs Ex-Charles Stanley Stockbroker

The UK-based investment and wealth manager has expanded its stockbroking team with a Charles Stanley veteran.

Walker Crips has appointed Alistair Macnab as a stockbroker, based in London.

Macnab joins after 30 years with Charles Stanley, where he was a stockbroker. He will provide stockbroking services to private clients, including discretionary, advisory and execution only.

Earlier this month, Walker Crips hired Nutmeg's former head of compliance, Guy Jackson, as compliance director, replacing David Hall, who will be retiring at the end of this month.

“With his extensive experience in advisory dealing and portfolio investment, Alistair is exactly the type of candidate we seek out as we continue to grow. His intellectual rigour, investment acumen and loyal client relationships makes him a strong addition to the team,” said Rodney FitzGerald, chief executive of Walker Crips.

Walker Crips, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, offers investment management, wealth management, stockbroking and structured investments.
