Vistra Rebrands Another Of Its Asia-Based Acquisitions

A company formation specialist acquired by Vistra, the trust, fiduciary, fund administration and incorporation specialist, has been given a new name.
Vistra has
rebranded OIL, one of its Asia-based companies, under the
Vistra name, adding to a series of similar moves.
The process started when Vistra merged with OIL, a company
formation specialist, in 2011. OIL, a 30-year-old firm,
will form the basis of Vistra’s company formation division.
"Originally branded Offshore Incorporations Limited, OIL for
short, we pioneered the use of offshore entities in Asia as a
means of opening up trade, investments, and capital market
transactions to the rest of the world. As the business has
developed and expanded beyond Asia, it makes sense to align under
the Vistra brand," said Martin Crawford, OIL's chief
executive.
In December last year, Intro International, a Singapore-based
corporate services firm focused on international expansion,
rebranded as Vistra, following its acquisition by the group
bearing that name in June 2016. Intro International provides
corporate secretarial, accounting, and tax compliance services.
Its portfolio of international clients includes trading companies
from the UK and Australia looking to establish an operation in
Singapore. The rebrand saw the teams from Intro
International relocate to Vistra’s existing offices in Singapore.
