Vistra Ramps Up North America Funds Business

The firm has added a group of senior managers to bulk up its operations for US funds.
Vistra, the corporate
services company, has appointed five senior figures for its North
America funds team: Frank Anduiza, Christopher Murphy, Sean Ward,
Matt Podolsky and Tony Olivo.
The hires come after
Vistra bought the Phoenix American fund
administration and transfer agency business.
“Vistra recognises the growing need for cross-border solutions
among clients in the USA and Canada, plus rising interest from
international clients looking to expand and raise capital in
North America,” the firm said.
“Vistra aims to remove the friction associated with the
complexity of global business. To make this a reality for
clients, Vistra has invested in building trusted and transparent
customer relationships through the introduction of new enterprise
account manager roles,” the firm said in a statement.
Rosemary McCollin, head of funds commercial – Europe, UK and US
at Vistra, is leading the initiative for the funds business in
the US market.
Frank Anduiza is based in New York. Previously, he worked at
Ultimus LeverPoint Private Fund Solutions, where he focused on
solutions for alternative investment clients across the entire
life cycle. He has worked at Citigroup, BNY and other firms.
Christopher Murphy is commercial sales director. His financial
services industry career began with SS&C. He has since held
key posts at Maitland, Gen II, and STP, specialising in
closed-end, private equity, real estate, hedge funds and crypto
funds.
Sean Ward, commercial sales director, will grow Vistra’s presence
in the alternative investment sector, particularly in private
equity, private debt, venture capital, and real estate. He has
worked at MUFG and SS&C, and Bloomberg.
Matt Podolsky is VP of sales. He has worked at Inland Securities
Corporation, Realty Capital Securities, Atlas Resources LLC and
most recently at Phoenix American.
Tony Olivo, VP of sales, is joining as part of Vistra’s
Phoenix American acquisition.
In July, Vistra appointed Caroline Baker as country managing
director for North America. She is based in Canada.
