Unigestion Appoints Chairman Of Uni-Global Range

The Swiss asset management firm has hired PIMCO’s former global wealth head.
Unigestion has appointed Emanuele Ravano as chairman of its Uni-Global SICAV range, which comprises 13 Unigestion subfunds.
Ravano spent 13 years as managing director and head of global wealth and portfolio management at PIMCO. He left that role in the summer of last year, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he spent 16 years as managing director and head of European fixed income at Credit Suisse.
Based in Monaco, he will work closely with Unigestion’s senior management team, supporting Unigestion’s distribution plans, specifically in intermediary markets. Ravano replaces Régis Martin in the role.
“Emanuele’s vast sector knowledge and dedication to delivering measurable results will help us build on our existing strong client relationships and form new ones in the future,” said Bernard Sabrier, group chairman of Unigestion.
Geneva-headquartered Unigestion manages around $20 billion in client assets.
