North Carolina-based wealth management firm VisionQuest has launched a strategic planning and financial advisory division for businesses.

VisionQuest president and chief executive officer Stephen Peters said the division was launched in response to the fact that almost 75 per cent of the firm’s existing clients are business owners. The new division offers services like book-keeping, tax execution and compliance, document management and contract compliance, VisionQuest said in a statement.

In other recent developments, in September 2009 VisionQuest expanded its US presence by acquiring Arizona-based wealth management firm Applied Strategies & Counsel.
