US wealth management and investment firms Matrix USA and Lighthouse Financial Group have signed a partnership to combine Matrix’s research facilities with the team of equities and derivatives dealers at Lighthouse.

The operating agreement - financial terms of which were undisclosed - is intended to create a institutional equity offering. The research will be branded as Matrix/Lighthouse.

The strategic partnership will enable customers to access Matrix USA and Lighthouse, with an equity and derivatives desk that consists of 20 people with more than 200 years of combined front line trading experience.

Matrix USA is an independent, privately owned full-service financial services firm that provides capital markets, wealth management and investing banking. Meanwhile, Lighthouse Financial is a New York-based investment bank and institutional securities firm focused on providing investment banking, wealth management, institutional sales and trading and prime brokerage to institutional and private banking clientele.
