US Trust Hires 5 More Advisors

US Trust has started the year by hiring five wealth advisors in Chicago and Texas.

Lisa Adelstein has joined as private client advisor in Chicago from Citi Private Bank where she was a private banker.

In Fort Worth, Texas Jay Bartley and Elizabeth Elgie come on board as client advisors. Both were senior wealth advisors at Comerica.

Jason Garcia has signed on as a private client advisor based in Dallas. Prior to joining US Trust, Garcia was a wealth strategist with Northern Trust in Chicago.

In Houston Michael Rogala has joined as a private client advisor from LPL Financial.

The hires are part of a recruiting drive. US Trust said last year it planned to hire more than 200 new private bankers and financial advisors, increasing its professional staff by almost 10 per cent. Just last month it hired five wealth management executives.

The bank oversees $308 billion in client assets and has 140 offices in 32 states.
