Vanguard, the US-based investment management firm, has named a new head of investment strategy and research for its Asia-Pacific business.
Vanguard, the US-based investment management firm, has named a new head of investment strategy and research for its Asia-Pacific business.
Jeffrey Johnson will relocate to Australia from the US in early 2014 to oversee a team of four senior investment analysts and economists focussed on the Asia-Pacific region. The group specialises on portfolio construction, asset allocation and location, tax and market and economic trends.
Johnson joined the company in 2000 as senior investment analyst in the portfolio review department, where he was responsible for fund and manager oversight, product management and development and institutional client service, among others.
Vanguard has $2.47 trillion in assets under management worldwide as at 30 September 2013.
