UK-Based Impax Heads Westwards With Oregon Office

A UK-headquartered investment firm which focuses on areas such as "clean energy" and water resources is expanding westwards, opening an office in the US Northwest.

Asset Management, a UK-headquartered manager focusing on
sustainable investments and the environment, has announced the
opening of a new office in Portland, Oregon.
With offices in New York and representation in Washington, DC,
the opening of the office in Portland helps to continue the
company’s expansion in the US market.
“Impax’s new West Coast office further strengthens our service to
institutional and high net worth investors in resource
optimisation, sustainable equity strategies and portfolios
incorporating ESG research,” said David Richardson, managing
director, Impax Asset Management.
Along with the opening of the office, Molly Ono has been
appointed director of business development and client
service.
Ono has around 13 years of experience in institutional asset
management. Prior to this, she was a director at Invesco, where
is managed relationships with institutional clients, which
include endowments, foundations, corporations and public plans
for listed equity, private equity and other investment
strategies
Currently, Ono is of the board of the Portland Alternative
Investment Association and is also a member of the Portland Women
in Investment Management.
Impax now manages £2.5 billion ($4.2 billion) for institutional
and high net worth investors globally.
