UK Wealth Manager Recruits Team From Allied Irish Bank

WH Ireland, the UK-listed private wealth manager, said today it has appointed Lindsey Hamilton as head of wealth management with immediate effect, joining from Allied Irish Bank’s Independent Financial Services arm. A number of her AIB colleagues are also joining the firm.

At AIB, Ms Hamilton implemented a new wealth management structure and as a result, revenues grew more than five-fold and moved the unit into profit within 18 months, WH Ireland said in a statement.

Prior to joining AIB, Ms Hamilton worked for five years at Barclays Independent Financial Planning.

Among her team members joining WH Ireland, with effect from 21 September, are Angela Wise, Jayesh Ratna, Panvir Thind, Zoltan Molnar and Christy Morrison.

“The team has in-depth experience in wealth management and an excellent track record in building strong, long-term client relationships within a service-led culture,” WH Ireland said.

“Together with Lindsey, the team has been recruited to accelerate the growth of the Group's Private Wealth Management offering,” the firm’s statement said.
